Oracles & Data

Definition: The Information Bridge

An Oracle is a service that feeds real-world data (off-chain) into a smart contract (on-chain). For real estate, this includes appraisal values, rent collection data, and property tax status.

How it Works: Verifiable NAV

Net Asset Value (NAV) is the total value of the assets minus the liabilities. In a tokenized system, oracles provide the data needed to calculate and verify the NAV in real-time, preventing the "black box" reporting issues of traditional private equity.

Oracle Data Points

  • ● Property Appraisals
  • ● Rent Roll Verification
  • ● Maintenance Expenses
  • ● Mortgage Balance

Why it Matters: Transparency

By using decentralized oracles, the protocol ensures that the data is not manipulated by the asset manager. Investors can trust the yield and valuation calculations because they are based on cryptographically verifiable inputs.
